		<description><![CDATA[Right on about the inside section fronts. But I still think there is room for a home page -- at least for the destination sites of the Web -- WSJ, NYT, ESPN. People will go to those sites to see what the big players have to offer. I do like the latest design trend of a really slimmed down home page.]]></description>

I watched a presentation the other day by a design firm about a recent project they did for a major daily, and it reminded me so much of the redesign that you and I worked on many years ago (you being Jason.) And the conversation sounded so similar to the ones we had nine years ago that I walked away thinking &quot;I get that it&#039;s a nice design, but I don&#039;t think it matters, because that&#039;s not how people surf anymore.&quot;]]></description>
